From September 25-27th, the Downtown Management District and five downtown restaurants are once again collaborating for the Downtown Eat Authentico! Restaurant Crawl.
“Downtown El Paso continues to give us flavorful reasons to bring back our restaurant crawl in addition to the public consistently providing positive feedback and demand for the event,” said DMD Executive Director Joe Gudenrath, adding, “It’s a great opportunity for the public to explore downtown hidden gems they not be aware of.”
Presented by TFCU, the restaurant crawl provides participants with a five-course meal, with each course at one of the five different downtown restaurants.
Spots are limited and will sell out, so we recommend tickets be purchased early to reserve your spots in the crawl.
Participating restaurants and dishes include:
v The Tap Restaurant and Bar serving the first course appetizer: The Tap Nachos (House made tortilla chips, topped with homemade refried beans, brisket, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, a mix of cheeses and fresh avocado).
v Basico Bistro and Café serving the second course appetizer: Baked Brie (Brie cheese covered in a layer of pastry, baked and served with apricot jam or marinara sauce).
v Rockstar Burger Bar serving the third course entrée: Rockstar Sliders and Fries (Rolling Stone Slider – Juicy beef patty, in house cream cheese sauce with sautéed mushrooms and chiles toreados and Chipotle Slider – Juicy beef pater, beer battered fried bacon, with home-made chipotle sauce).
v Pot Au Feu serving the fourth course entrée: Katsu Chicken (w/ poached egg, Asian noodles, carrots, scallions and bok choi).
v Anson 11 serving fifth course dessert: Warm Chocolate Cake (House made warm chocolate cake made with a vanilla gelato, berries, and pasilla caramel sauce).
Tickets can be purchased at DowntownElPaso.com at $40 for crawls on Wednesday and Thursday and $45 for crawls on Friday.
Only two groups will be available on Wednesday the 25th and Thursday the 26th, one starting at 6pm, and the second at 7pm.
Three groups will be available on Friday the 27th, with start times at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm.
