The following is a list of closures for Labor Day from El Paso-area businesses, organizations and offices.
Offices, schools, banking institutions and some stores are closed; check with your specific institution for their schedule.

City 2021 Labor Day Holiday Schedule
In observance of the Labor Day Holiday, all City administrative offices will be closed on Monday, September 6.
All City and State COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites will be closed Sept. 4 through Sept. 6, and reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Visit EPStrong.org for more information.
The Greater El Paso Landfill will be closed. Residential garbage and recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday.

TTUHSC El Paso and TTP El Paso Clinics Closed for Labor Day Holiday
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. This includes all Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso clinics.
Regular hours of operation will resume Tuesday, Sept. 7.
EPCC Observes Labor Day
El Paso Community College (EPCC) will observe Labor Day on Monday, September 6, 2021. Online registration will continue to be available.
EPCC classes will resume, and offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 7, 2021
DACC Holiday Closures
Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is giving notice that there will be no classes or services available online or at any of its campuses or centers on Monday, September 6th in obser
In addition, when DACC buildings are open, anyone who enters must be masked regardless of vaccination status. This is in an effort to limit opportunities for the coronavirus to spread.
El Paso ISD
Labor Day – District Holiday – No School/District Closed
Socorro ISD to be closed in observance of Labor Day on Sept. 6
The Socorro Independent School District will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of the 2021 Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume, schools and offices will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 7. In case of an emergency, please contact SISD Police Services Dispatch at 937-4357.
Ysleta ISD
Ysleta ISD will be closed for the Labor Day Holiday; Classes resume September 6th.
