El Paso County Coliseum set to host ‘Intocable’ for first Drive-In Concert

Tuesday morning, tour promoter L.J. Productions announced its first-ever drive in concert in El Paso County Coliseum featuring Grammy award winning group Intocable.

The concert is set for Friday, August 7th. Intocable had been scheduled to perform earlier this year, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Now fans can enjoy their music from the comfort of their vehicles.

“After the live music industry has been on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, promoters are looking for different and creative ways to revive the concert going experience, while still abiding by health directives and keeping everyone safe,” aid Brian Kennedy, Chairman of the board of El Paso County Coliseum shared.

“We are proud to have the ideal premises for a family friendly and healthy environment – drive in concert.”

According to coliseum officials, concertgoers will be able to drive into the Coliseum Parking lot; once parked, there will also be an empty parking lot space in between each vehicle keeping a ten-foot gap between cars.

Attendees are encouraged to bring food and drinks to enjoy the view of the performers from the stage and also from large screens.

Restrooms, located inside the coliseum building, will be sanitized after each use.  Social distancing of six feet will be enforced while using the restrooms

“Every person who enters the building must wear face mask at all times; their hands will be sanitized and their temperature will be checked before entering the building,” coliseum officials added.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, July 17th at 10:00 am and through ticketmaster.com or at the coliseum box office; Prices will start at $100 per vehicle and that includes up to four persons in the vehicle, additional person will be $25, up to six people per car.
