UPDATE: EPCSO Deputies capture sex offender that failed to return to facility

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday, Febuary 1st that Baker was located on the 1300 block of Horizon Blvd. and taken into custody by Sheriff’s Office deputies, he was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is again requesting assistance from the community in locating a sex offender who failed to return to the facility on Sunday.

According to EPCSO officials, on January 23, 2021, Nathanial Dean Baker left the El Paso Multi-Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Boulevard, some two miles south of Horizon City limits.

Baker is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. EPCSO officials say his sex offense is for Child Molestation in the 2nd Degree, the victim being a 12- year-old female and is currently on parole for Fail to Comply Sex Offenders Duty to Register Life/Annual.
