On March 30, 2021, Lenois was taken into custody by Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers in Chambers County, Texas. He was booked into the Chambers County Jail.

Wednesday night, officials with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office issued a news release, requesting assistance from the community in finding Thomas Alfred Lenois.
EPCSO officials say that Lenois left the El Paso Transitional Living Center located at 1650 Horizon Boulevard, some two miles south of Horizon City limits and across the street from the Sparks neighborhood, without permission.
“He left the facility without authorization and his whereabouts are now unknown,” EPCSO officials stated. “Lenois is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming.”
According to EPCSO officials, Lenois is a registered sex offender for a conviction of Sexual Assault 1st Degree out of the State of Connecticut, the victim being a 17-year-old female and is currently on Parole for Sex Offenders Duty to Register Life/Annually.
