On, Saturday, members of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office volunteered their Saturday morning to lend a helping hand to a resident of Canutillo.
El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials said, “Deputies have come to know Ms. Lulu Botello from their patrol duties and together they decided she could use some help.”
Northwest Patrol deputies, COPS Representatives, the Community Services Section, Sheriff’s Office Explorers and Backgrounds helped brighten up Botello’s home by providing a fresh coat of paint to the home and yard work.
Volunteers trimmed hedges, trees, and gathered weeds and trash from the yard. The house was power washed and prepped for a fresh coat of paint.
EPCSO officials added, “With the help of community partners like Home Depot, other local business, and 22 volunteers from the Sheriff’s Office we made a difference.”
