El Paso County Sheriff’s hosting drive through Trunk or Treat, Halloween light show

This Halloween, Sheriff Richard D. Wiles, and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office invite you to celebrate SAFELY with our Halloween Light Show and Trunk or Treat.

“The drive-up Halloween light show will feature lights, music, video, animations, and your favorite spooky characters,” EPCSO officials shared.

 The light show will be held from October 29th – 31st, 2020, from 6:30pm – 10:00pm, at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters located at 3850 Justice Drive.

On Saturday, October 31st, 2020, from 3:00pm – 630pm, they will host a drive-thru Trunk or Treat event, children will receive a basket, candy, and goodies; baskets are limited to the first 300 kids.

“All the events are free for all to attend and costumes are encouraged,” officials added. “We will be enforcing CDC guidelines on social distancing and face coverings.”

  • Masks must be worn at all times by ALL attendees.
  • ALL attendees must remain in their vehicles at all times.
  • Follow ALL traffic signs and signals.

Ahead of the events, the Sheriff’s Office Community Services Section is collecting Halloween candy from the community.

Candy collected will be distributed the trick-or-treaters during the upcoming drive-thru Trunk or Treat event and for those who donate, this year EPCSO will be raffling 3 prizes, each bag donated earns a ticket into the raffle.

Community members wishing to donate a bag of candy can drop it off at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters located at 3850 Justice Dr. with Public Information Officer Leslie Antunez.

Last day to donate is candy is Friday, October 30th, 2020.  For more information – (915) 538-2119.
