El Paso Coyotes Seek win to close out Coliseum Homestand

The El Paso Coyotes will close out a three-game homestand with a tough match up against Atlético Baja in a Major Arena Soccer League game Friday, January 20, at the El Paso County Coliseum (4100 E. Paisano.)

After losing to the Turlock Express last week, the Coyotes, now 0-11 under new head coach Jose Luis Treviño, continue their quest to secure their first victory in their inaugural season in the MASL.

The Coyotes, who are in last place in the Southwest Division, have been relying on the scoring of Daniel Salas with 15 goals and four assists to stay competitive in the league. Baja, 5-6 and in second play in the Southwest Division, will look to Christian Gutierrez, who leads the team with 32 goals and seven assists.

The home game also will feature Max the Coyote mascot, the Coyote Girls, music, games, giveaways and the concession stands will be open.

All general admission tickets will cost $12 with kids getting in free with each adult ticket purchased. Tickets are available at the El Paso County Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m, game starts at 7:35 p.m.
