As part of their on-going partnerships with the El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation and the University Medical Center Foundation, El Paso Health presented both organizations with $60,000 checks.
At a small ceremony held Tuesday, El Paso Health CEO Frank Dominguez presented the checks to University Medical Center CEO Jacob Cintron and El Paso Children’s Hospital CEO Cindy Stout.
“We are very proud of our partnerships with EPCH and UMC. Our common goal is to support the region’s overall strategy to promote access to quality healthcare by advancing the local healthcare delivery system,” said Frank Dominguez, Chief Executive Officer at El Paso Health.
The contribution from El Paso Health will provide a total of $120,000 in funds to cover ongoing programs and services at both El Paso Children’s Hospital and University Medical Center.
They include increased access to pediatric care services and funding for the El Paso Health and UMC Foundation Car Seat Program.
“The Foundation is grateful for today’s donation by the Hospital District’s El Paso Health,” said Estela Casas, Executive Director for UMC and El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundations. “We appreciate Frank Dominguez’s commitment to helping maintain quality care for our youngest patients at El Paso Children’s.”
El Paso Health is a local, private, non-profit organization, Texas-licensed health maintenance organization (HMO) established by the El Paso County Hospital District to enter into contract with the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for the purpose of improving access to medical care for STAR and CHIP members in El Paso and Hudspeth Counties.
