El Paso Health (EPH), the only local managed care organization in the region, is proud to announce that it has been named as a 2020 Pioneer in the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) Leaders in Performance Measurement (LPM) recognition program.
EPH has been commended by URAC for transforming healthcare. URAC-accredited organizations promote trust in the quality of care delivered through performance measurement activities. This award applies to data submitted by EPH in 2020 for the year of 2019.

EPH is a Texas licensed health maintenance organization (HMO), established by the El Paso County Hospital District. El Paso Health has a contract with HHSC for the purpose of improving access to medical care for STAR, CHIP, and CHIP Perinatal recipients in El Paso and Hudspeth Counties. In 2019, El Paso Health was awarded the contract for Medicare Advantage Dual SNP, by CMS. This new contract allows El Paso Health to administer Medicare Advantage Dual SNP to a select group of members that are also covered by Medicaid.
