El Paso International Airport invites the public to “Community Drone Day” trade show and informational session as a part of the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) National Drone Safety Awareness Week.
The free and in-person event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, at the airport’s La Placita Conference Room. Participants are required to wear masks at the airport to be in compliance with federal regulations.
El Paso International Airport in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration, aims to provide guidance and support to the drone community through this trade show and informational session. The event will feature a panel discussion at 10 a.m. to cover important topics related to drone usage.
Panelists include representatives from, El Paso Police and Fire Departments, Drone Hive, and more.
Participants of “Community Drone Day” will be entered into drawings for door prizes including ELP Promotional Items, a Drone Operator Kit, and three DJI Tello Drones.
