Officials with the El Paso International Airport (EPIA) announce that member of their staff have completed the Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Program through the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
“It is a city strategic goal to support its people and also a personal goal of mine to foster the growth and development of the people that work so diligently to make this airport an award-winning one,” said Monica Lombrana, A.A.E., Chief Operations and Transportation Officer.
“I am a proud example of an employee that utilized the City’s educational resources and it is important to me that I encourage my staff to do the same, not just for the betterment of the organization but also for their own personal professional achievement.”
The AAAE ACE Operations program is a Part 139-based curriculum designed to educate and challenge airport personnel with airfield operations responsibilities.
“The training consisted of four days of intense classwork consisting of modules of learning that covers everything from administration to the airfield, followed by a final exam,” airport officials shared. “Airport employees who completed this course received an Aviation Professional Certification and Designation.”
