El Paso ISD Announces Free Summer Meal Sites at 31 Schools

The El Paso Independent School District Food and Nutrition Services Department announced that 31 schools throughout the District have been selected as sites for the Summer Food Service Program.

The campuses — 14 elementary schools, six middle schools and 11 high schools — will serve free breakfast and lunch to children ages 1 to 18 free of charge and without eligibility or restrictions.

Serving times are breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. (7:15 to 8:30 at the high schools); and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The summer meal program runs from June 13 to July 29, with the exception of the week of July 4-8, when the District is closed.

The El Paso Independent School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

For more information about the EPISD food program you may call 230-2160.
