El Paso Museum of History Hosts Texas History Workshops

The El Paso Museum of History, Region 19 Education Service Center and the Texas State Historical Association will present a daylong workshop for area educators as part of the Explore Texas History Series from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, at the museum located at 510 N. Santa Fe.

The workshop will give area educators the opportunity to attend sessions discussing ways to teach Texas History from 1682 to the present time. The workshops are designed for fourth and seventh grade teachers.

The Explore Texas History Series is a series of workshops intended to provide timely and accessible historical content and pedagogical advice from renowned scholars, respected classroom practitioners, and organizations with expertise in the fields of history, geography, economics, civics, and skill building that have been held in different cities across the state.
