On Friday, officials with the El Paso Museum of History Foundation welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors, each of whom brings unique insights to the organization.
The new members join fellow board members Elizabeth Uribe Sinclair, president; Bernie Sargent, vice president; Christian Perez Giese, treasurer; Joe Gomez; Martha Vera; and Gary Williams, who is Senior Program Officer of the El Paso Community Foundation.
- Susan “Susie” Gorman recently retired as executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter. She has been a community volunteer with several organizations, including the Junior League of El Paso and El Paso Symphony Guild.
- Joe Nebhan is on the board of the Texas Historical Foundation and the Trost Society. He is a former chair of the El Paso County Historical Commission.
- Steve Ortega is a lawyer and former El Paso City Council member, a policy fellow with the El Paso Chamber and recipient of the City of El Paso’s highest honor, the Conquistador Award.
The El Paso Museum of History Foundation was founded to mobilize resources for acquisition, conservation, and education in service of the El Paso Museum of History.
