Father’s Day Celebration set for Saturday thanks to City of El Paso Parks and Recreation

This weekend, the Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate all fathers and father figures at a Father’s Day Celebration this Saturday.

The celebration concert will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 19 at Memorial Park, 1701 North Copia.

The free, outdoor concert will take place at the reserve section of Memorial Park and will feature live music from the following bands and performers:

  • 6 p.m. – Disco Music
  • 7 p.m. – Legna Villalobos
  • 8 p.m. – Radio Altivo Band

Gates to the Father’s Day Celebration open at 4 p.m.  and visitors are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Grilling will not be permitted; however, food trucks will be available to the public.

Visitors are encouraged to follow COVID-19 health and safety protocols, including use of face coverings and practicing physical distancing.
