El Paso Parks and Recreation to Host National Kids to Parks Day Saturday

The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Trust, will host the annual National Kids to Parks Day from 8 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, May 21, at the Memorial Garden Center located at 3105 Grant Ave.

Children and their families will be able to participate in a variety of fun outdoor activities, games and demonstrations. Participants will also be exposed to hiking, archery, fly-casting and other activities.

Kids to Parks Day encourages children and families to visit a city, state, or national park to improve their health and fitness while connecting to nature through outdoor activities.
