The El Paso Public Library invites everyone to “jam out” at area library branches by attending a series of Jazz concerts through April 29 in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month or JAM.
The free concerts are held at library branches throughout El Paso. The concerts give everyone the opportunity to experience the traditional American musical art form. The concerts feature internationally acclaimed performers Lou Grassi and Herb Robertson, as well as other accomplished local musicians.
The concert series schedule is as follows:
- Hector Olea Trio Saturday, April 15, @ 2p.m. Judge Marquez Branch
- KOAN Saturday, April 22, @ 3:30p.m. Memorial Park Branch (featuring Lou Grassi and Herb Robertson)
- Hector Olea Trio Saturday, April 29, @ 1p.m. Armijo Branch
- String Theory Saturday, April 29, @ 2p.m. Esperanza Moreno Branch
