El Paso Ranked ‘4th Hottest Real Estate Markets to Watch’ in 2018

Mobile and online real estate resource Trulia.com has named El Paso the 4th Hottest Real Estate Market to Watch in 2018 out of the 100 most populated metros in the country.

“With all of the growth we have been witnessing, it is no surprise that we were ranked fourth. Our vibrant culture, affordable housing and cost living makes El Paso a perfect location for young families and professionals,” Mayor Dee Margo said.

The average price of a home in El Paso is just $186,611.

“Accolades like these reaffirm we are moving in the right direction and help attract new businesses to our market,” said City Manager Tommy Gonzalez.

Trulia touts the city’s incredible Tex-Mex cuisine, wealth of locations for outdoor activities and the rich downtown artist community and farmers market. Additionally, El Paso’s strong job growth, affordability, low vacancy rates and high population of young household were pivotal in the ranking process.

El Paso is the highest ranked city in Texas and the highest ranked city in the Southwest. Click here to view the entire list of cities.
