On November 9, 2023, Ricardo Estrada Middle School organized a soccer match between the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers and the teachers vs the student team.
Over three hundred students graced this remarkable occasion, allowing them to interact with the deputies. Throughout the morning, students engaged in dancing, laughter, exuberant shouts, and enthusiastic cheers, thoroughly relishing every moment of the game.
Following the game’s conclusion, Deputy Omar Gonzalez, Vice President of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Officer Association, kindly prepared burgers for the esteemed administration and staff members at Ricardo Estrada Middle School. El Paso County Sheriff’s Office sincerely aspires to establish this occasion as an annual celebration, and eagerly anticipates the presence of all attendees in the forthcoming year.
