El Paso Streetcar adjusts operating hours

El Paso Streetcar will adjust its hours beginning the week of Sunday, October 13.

Streetcar officials share that operating hours are reviewed regularly to ensure they meet ridership demand and support activities along the nearly 5-mile route.

“Streetcar fares will continue to be waived throughout October and into 2020,” officials added.

In October, riders may take advantage of the waived fees to donate to the El Paso Strong Campaign effort via fare boxes inside the streetcar.

The El Paso Strong effort supports the development of a permanent memorial to honor the victims and survivors of the domestic terrorism attack on August 3.

Toward the end of the year, riders will be able to enjoy streetcar rides to the holiday festivities in downtown.

Adjusted Streetcar Schedule

Sunday – Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (midnight)
Thursday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

To plan streetcar rides, everyone who downloads the new El Paso Streetcar App can follow the streetcar along the route, get alerts when the streetcar will arrive, and select their favorite stops for quick access.

The app is available for iOS and Android phones.
