The City of El Paso and El Paso International Airport has been selected to host the Smart Airports and Regions Conference & Exhibition to be held on July 21-24, 2019.
“The Smart Airports and Regions Conference & Exhibition is the premier event covering how SMART Airports and their adjacent Regions are leveraging ‘Connectivity’ to stimulate ‘Innovation and Opportunity’ and as such, we could not have picked a better host than the City of El Paso,” said Andrew Hazell, Commercial Director, Aviation Media.
According to city officials, the event attracts over 500 strategic level delegates, from over 50 different countries and over 90 airport and industry experts and speakers.
Delegates meet annually to discuss trends, future opportunities and exchange ideas with industry experts in airport design, construction & development, commercial development, real estate, non-aeronautical revenue.
“We are extremely honored and excited the City of El Paso will host next year’s Smart Airports and Regions Conference & Exhibition,” said Mayor Dee Margo. “We welcome the opportunity to showcase our city and the surrounding region to hundreds of aviation industry leaders from around the globe.”
The three-day conference covers a wide range of topics including technology, innovation, passenger experience with a focus on the economic impact that airports have on their community.
