El Paso Winefest announces line up for October event, Tickets now on sale

The eighth annual El Paso Winefest brings together the stars of El Paso’s culinary scene with acclaimed local chefs and fine wines in the heart of downtown.

“Where else can you enjoy such a fabulous setting, sample great food and fantastic wines, and walk away feeling great, knowing that you touched hundreds of lives through Rotary projects?” said Matt Niland, President of the Rotary Club of El Paso. “It’s not only an extraordinary value; it’s an extraordinary cause.”

100% of the proceeds will go to support Rotary Club of El Paso projects, including the Children’s Holiday Party and Book Distribution for Region 19 Head Start kids, RotaCare El Paso Medical Clinic in the Mission Valley, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards for area high school juniors, International Youth Exchange, Literacy efforts and Ramp Builds to assist disabled and homebound individuals.

This event is on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in downtown El Paso, across from San Jacinto Plaza.

Organizers share that the event will feature 450 wines from around the world, plus food from 20 of El Paso’s finest restaurants.

In addition to tastings, selected participating wineries will offer full bottles of wine for sale in a fully functional wine store. Representatives from some of Napa Valley’s top wineries will be on hand to showcase their wines and answer questions.

This year’s event will also feature the works of local artists at the Reserve Tasting, and many will be on display during the Grand Tasting event on October 16th.  A limited-edition El Paso Winefest 2021 poster designed by local artist Patrick Gabaldon will be available at the Reserve Tasting and during the Grand Tasting event.

Musical entertainment will be provided by by Julio Ortiz.

Single tickets to the grand tasting are $100 each, and groups of 12 tickets are available for $1000. VIP tickets with access to special tasting experiences and reserved seating areas are available for $150 each.
