El Paso Zoo to Host ‘EGGstravaganZoo Celebration’ This Weekend

The El Paso Zoo invites residents to the EggstravaganZoo Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 31 and April 1.

Via a news release, zoo officials say, “The family-friendly event provides a safe environment to have some fun while celebrating spring with the Easter Bunny…visitors of all ages can see the animals enjoy special Eggrichment treats and children can start their Eggventure by stopping at the Eggtivity Stations.”

As part of the festivities, children 3 to 12 years of age will receive a special Bunny passport and collect stamps by participating at all the ‘Eggtivity stations.’ All completed passports will receive a surprise. Children will be able to stop by at any of our seven sponsor booths to receive a candy treat.

Also, visitors can stop by the top of the Asia Discovery area and examine real eggs and learn fun facts from zoo staff. Guests will also have the opportunity to watch the Amazing Adrian magic show at the Asia Plaza.

All of the fun is available with paid admission or membership (except Easter Bunny photos, face painting, giraffe feeding, and train rides). Zoo parking is limited, and overflow parking will be available at the El Paso County Coliseum.
