Wednesday morning, officials with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank announced their partnership with DoorDash that is delivering essential food and resources.
Officials say that the partnership and the deliveries to vulnerable communities including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans is already bearing fruit.
Piloted in March 2021, DoorDash Dashers have already successfully made over 25,000 deliveries numbering a total of 750,000 meals as part of the food bank’s home delivery program.
The food bank and DoorDash are now delivering to and serving 2,100 clients every week.
