El Pasoans Pick Downtown El Paso’s Crescendo Music Contest Winners

In early June, the Downtown Management District (DMD) challenged local musicians to compose an original song in any genre that was inspired by Downtown El Paso (DTEP).

The song finalists were posted on the contest voting page and the public was encouraged to vote with a ‘LIKE’ for one or more of their favorite songs.

After a few weeks of voting, El Pasoans selected their winners.

First Place and winner of a $300 Gift Certificate to Café Central and a music video produced by Sir Realistic Productions goes to RC Manor for his song, “Sun City Lovin’”.

Second Place and winner of $150 Gift Certificate to Anson 11 goes to Sebastian Garcia, for his song, “Paper Border Cutout”.

Third Place and winner of a $50 Gift Certificate to Park Tavern goes to Joseph Martinez for his song, “Love My City”.
