Emergence Health Network, in collaboration with the Paso Del Norte Health Foundation, are inviting El Paso residents to a free community event for anyone interested in learning more about mental illness and how to assist an individual in need.
“Just about everyone can feel overwhelmed at times, maybe even feel anxiety, depression or deal with a wide range of situations they can’t coping with,” said Kristi Daugherty, CEO Emergence Health Network.
Invited speakers will share their stories of how mental illness has impacted their lives in hopes that they can positively impact other lives.
“We are very excited about our guest speakers who are traveling to El Paso to share their inspiring stories,” said Noreen Jaramillo, Emergence Health Network Director of Communications.
“Kevin Hines is an award-winning bestselling author and filmmakers who talks about his experience with Bipolar Disorder and surviving a suicide attempt off the Gold Gate Bridge. Mark Lukach is the author of the international bestselling memoir of his young marriage that was impacted by his wife’s battle with mental illness. We are honored to have them here.”
