‘End of Watch’ Ride to Remember headed to El Paso next week; Will honor fallen Deputy Peter J. Herrera

As part of the End of Watch (E.O.W.) Ride to Remember, riders and a memorial trailer will stop in El Paso County to honor and remember Deputy Peter John Herrera next week.

This year the riders will arrive at the El Paso County Headquarters located at 3850 Justice Drive on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 11:30 am.

Riders will be followed by a customized dually truck, towing a 28-foot trailer with graphics depicting the fallen officers, their agency, and the sponsors who are helping support the ride.

“Please join us starting at 11:30am outside of Sheriff’s Office Headquarters as we welcome the E.O.W. Ride to Remember and honor Deputy Herrera,” El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials shared.

Each year, this event honors the nation’s fallen officers and give their friends, family, and co-workers a chance to remember them by riding and joining in remembering their names.

“The primary purpose of the E.O.W. Ride to Remember is to raise awareness of the law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty last year,” E.O.W. officials shared.

“As they crisscross the country, the riders are stopping at each agency that had a fallen officer in 2019.”
