Environmental Services Department Extends Deadline for Video and Trash Bin Art Contest

The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department (ESD) has extended the deadline for the 2017 “Recycle Right, El Paso” video contest for students and the “Trash Bin Art” contest to Monday, March 20.

The “Recycle Right, El Paso” public service announcement (PSA) video contest is open to area high school and middle school students. The free contest requires students to create a 30-second video PSA that focuses on the importance of recycling and how to “Recycle Right, El Paso.”

The Trash Bin Art contest calls for residents to create an Earth Day themed art masterpiece on a trash bin. The free contest is open to anyone 18 and older.

More information on the 2017 “Recycle Right, El Paso” video contest and “Trash Bin Art” contest, including rules, guidelines and registration, is available on the Environmental Services Department website or by calling (915) 212-6058.
