Environmental Services Department Opens New Citizen Collection Station

The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department has officially opened the newest Citizen Collection Station (CCS) located at 3510 Confederate, on the city’s far-east side.

Citizen Collection Stations are designated areas where residents can drop off trash, household hazardous waste, bulky items like furniture and mattresses, and recyclables. Residents may use the sites free of charge by providing a recent water bill and matching identification.

The new Citizen Collection Station has the same services as all other sites located in El Paso. The site offers reusable paint, mulch, and reusable household products, as well as a community tool shed where residents can borrow yard tools.

This specific location has a country warehouse where residents can help divert waste to the landfill by repurposing things such as washers, dryers, stoves, bicycles, lawnmowers and anything else that the community can use.

The country warehouse is on an “As Is” and first come, first serve basis.

The Citizen Collection Stations are located throughout El Paso:

  • Northeast – 4507 Hondo Pass
  • Central – 2492 Harrison
  • Westside – 121 Atlantic
  • Eastside – 1034 Pendale
  • Far East – 3510 Confederate (new location)
