EP County Sheriff’s Office: Yet another escape from East EP County-area facility

Yet another sex offender has walked away from the complex just south of Horizon City.  El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials say that Timothy Sherwood escaped from the El Paso Transitional Center located at 1650 Horizon on December 11th.

sxofnd walkEPCSO officials say Sherwood cut off his ankle monitor and walked away from the facility and his whereabouts are unknown.

He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming.  His sex offense is for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, the victim being a 12 year-old female at the time of the offense.  He is on parole for said offense.
