El Paso Giving Day set for Next Week; Residents can Schedule Gifts Now
El Pasoans don’t have to wait until November 15 to participate in El Paso Giving Day, our community’s first-ever 24-hour community charitable giving drive.
Between Monday, November 7 and Monday, November 14, 2016, you can visit El Paso Giving Day to schedule your donation to more than 130 local non-profit organizations.
“If you think you’ll be out of town, too busy, or are worried you just might forget to give on El Paso Giving Day, we encourage you to take advantage of the scheduling feature on our web site,” said Kimmy May, Coordinator of El Paso Giving Day. “You can do you part now and rest assured that your donation will be tallied along with everybody else’s on November 15.”
Those wishing to set up their gifts early can visit ElPasoGivingDay.org to schedule your gift to one or multiple nonprofits. You’ll receive a confirmation that your gift was scheduled. On November 15, they’ll receive an email confirmation verifying your gift(s) processed successfully.
El Paso Giving Day is intended to ignite the spirit of giving, attract new and younger donors and increase the capacity of our city’s nonprofits to engage donors through online fundraising.
