EP Marathon names Features official race sock

Feetures has been named the official sock of the Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon, TFCU Half Marathon and 5K, race officials announced Friday.

Feetures, known as “the best performance socks in the world,” are designed utilizing the latest breakthroughs in sock technology to create a sock that that enhances the performance of runners and other athletes.
“I am very happy to have Features be part of our Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon and TFCU Half Marathon team,” said Mike Coulter, race director. “We really appreciate their commitment to high quality and their support for our races.”
As part of this sponsorship, Feetures socks will be given away in a free drawing at the 2020 Visit El Paso Marathon Expo on Feb. 15 at the El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Center.
The Expo is held the day before the Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon, TFCU Half Marathon, and 5K, which are to be run Feb. 16, 2020. The races begin in Downtown El Paso and finish at Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball team and El Paso Locomotive soccer club.
At the Expo, racers, spectators and running enthusiasts learn about the races, pick up race numbers, and visit various booths to learn about running, health and fitness. Thousands of runners, walkers and their families and friends attend the Expo every year.
The El Paso Marathon races are organized by the El Paso Marathon Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to health and fitness that uses proceeds from the races to benefit select area charities. Since the first marathon 12 years ago, more than $250,000 has been raised for local El Paso-area charities.
The next El Paso Marathon races will be Feb. 16, 2020. People interested in running, volunteering or sponsoring can go to the marathon’s website for more information.
