El Paso Zoo Hosts Free Drive-Thru Flu Shots Event

The City of El Paso Department of Public Health and FireDepartment along with partnering agencies are offering drive-thru flu shots to those 2 years and older at the El Paso Zoo.

The drive-thru site at the zoo is free of charge for members of the community with no appointment or insurance needed. Receive a free face mask, Be POWERflu sticker and a chance of winning a basket full of goodies when you get your flu shot:

City of El Paso Zoo
4001 E. Paisano Dr.
Tuesday, October 26, 2021
Noon to 6 p.m.

The “Be PowerFlu” prevention campaign is meant to reduce the number of flu cases and prevent serious flu-related illness during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Reducing the number of flu cases will also reduce the number of flu-related hospitalizations, which in turn will help keep hospital rooms available for those being treated for COVID-19 infections and other serious illnesses.
