The El Paso Community College (EPCC) Language Institute held its 8th Annual Language Institute Day at the Valle Verde Americana Village. EPCC students from different countries and backgrounds got together and celebrated their cultures.
Lucy Flores, Language Institute Program Manager said “The international students have this day to celebrate their homeland and learn about each other. They wore their national attire to represent their country.”
This activity got the students together to interact with each other. This is a great way to help with homesickness and to represent/embrace culture for these international students.
The Language Institute offers an Intensive English Program, Conversational English as a Second Language (ESL) and Conversational Spanish programs, that will help you meet your academic and professional goals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
