In the best interest of the health and well-being of each of our students, their families and our entire community, El Paso Community College (EPCC) will be recognizing this year’s graduates with a virtual ceremony.
“We know that most of our students have looked forward to crossing the stage and being presented with their degree at the commencement ceremony. This is an incredible moment for them, their family and friends,” Dr. William Serrata, EPCC President, said. “While COVID-19 will change how we celebrate the Class of 2020 graduates, it will not diminish our pride in each and every graduate.”
The virtual commencement for the Class of 2020, to include students graduating in the spring, summer and fall, will be held this December.
The commencement will be streamed online and will air on EPCC-TV, so friends and family, near and far, can watch and celebrate your achievement.
“The graduation airing and streaming date will be announced in early December and we look forward to all graduating students, families and friends participating in this celebration. EPCC congratulates the Class of 2020,” officials added.
Graduates will be contacted via email the week of November 23 to submit a picture and comment. Students who have not been contacted or have questions should email [email protected] no later than November 30.
