On Saturday, El Paso Community College (EPCC) held a virtual commencement ceremony to celebrate the Spring Class of 2021.
“We are very proud of your efforts and determination. Graduation is not an ending, it is a beginning,” Dr. William Serrata, EPCC President, said. “As graduates, you will soon embark on the next stage of life’s journey with a degree in hand and the skills you need to reach your goals.”
The event for the 2,232 graduates was broadcast on EPCC-TV and YouTube. The commencement is can be viewed below.
Graduation is an incredibly important milestone and graduating during a global pandemic is no small feat. The virtual ceremony was focused on the strength and resiliency of EPCC students and how these unprecedented circumstances have prepared them well for future success.
Dr. Serrata hosted the virtual ceremony, and the commencement speaker was Dr. Roberto Coronado, Senior Vice President and Senior Economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
