EPCC Fire Tech Program continues providing Carbon Monoxide, Smoke Detectors to community

The El Paso Community College (EPCC) Fire Technology Program, through a grant from State Farm, will provide education on home safety, fire prevention, as well as carbon monoxide and smoke detectors for area residents.

Officials share that they hope the distribution of both equipment and tips helps lead to healthier and safer communities.

On Saturday, March 13, participants will receive carbon monoxide and smoke detectors – via socials distancing guidelines – as well as information on how to appropriately respond to various emergencies which might be encountered in the home or workplace, ranging from gas leaks to fire.

The outreach is all part of the EPCC Fire Technology Program, training first responders for emergencies in our community.
