EPCC holds Nurse Pinning Ceremony to Celebrate 2020 Grads
Last weekend, El Paso Community College (EPCC) Nursing Program celebrated its 2020 graduating students with a Drive-thru Pinning Ceremony
“It is a tradition for our students to receive their nursing pin and lamp in a ceremony; they had the opportunity to share this memorable time with their loved ones and celebrated by their faculty,” EPCC officials shared. “It was a way to recognize our nursing students’ merit, which they have achieved despite the persistent challenges from the nursing program and the pandemic.”
Students, faculty, and limited family members attended per social distancing practices at the Rio Grande Campus on Saturday, December 11.
“The nursing students are eager to serve in the healthcare workforce to benefit the health and well-being of the El Paso Community. Students have achieved academic and professional goals through their resilient attitude,” college officials added.
“We are confident that they will become an invaluable asset to the community and capable of overcoming the various challenges that they will encounter throughout their professional growth.”
