EPCC Showcases Student Art Through Friday

El Paso Community College (EPCC) Student Art Society is hosting its 39th annual Student Art Exhibition as part of the college’s Spring Arts Festival. Event entries are open to all EPCC students.

Presentation of jury selected pieces will be on display at the EPCC Administrative Services Center (ASC) Building A Foyer located at 9050 Viscount Blvd.

An award presentation and reception, open to the public, will be held in the ASC Building A Foyer, April 15th from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Awards will be presented for first, second, third place and honorable mention in the categories of two-dimensional and three-dimensional, as well as Best of Show.

Awards are made available through the Art Student Society.

This year’s Juror/Guest Artist is Melissa Barba. She is the Assistant Director of the Rubin Center for the Visual Arts at UTEP.  Before working for UTEP, she was the curator for YISD at La Galeria de la Mision de Senecu on Alameda.

The display is open to the public weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., available for viewing until April 15, 2016.
