TNTM: El Paso Comic Con (EPCON) 2017 March Update

El Paso Comic Con (EPCON) 2017will be here in less than a month. Wanted to give you a real quick update on some of the stuff you might not know about. Don’t want you to miss out on any of the fun.

There are a couple of exclusives for attendees.

DukesComics is a local comic book publisher. They will be premiering their new title “A.W.O.L.” at EPCON. The cover of this book has a few shout-outs to the El Paso area. Stop by their booth and support your local comics.

Mat Nastos has a special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles variant cover comic book. You’ll also want to stop by Mat’s booth on Sunday as he will be doing a limited amount of free sketches for the kids.

Jay Fotos is bringing some of his zombies to the event. He will also be offering a ’68 Zombies print/book combo special. The print will be of his zombie “Tanker Tom”. He will sign the book and print for you as well.

There will be an El Paso Comic Con exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles variant cover drawn by Kevin Eastman. There will be only 1,600 of these variant covers printed EVER! If you have a VIP or Weekend Membership you will get one of these comics as part of your membership. If you didn’t get a membership the rest of the variants will be sold at the event. Don’t forget, Kevin Eastman signs the first item for FREE so you can get his autograph on that variant.

If you are looking for a significant other that is just as nerdy as you, Speed Dating will be there.

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lounge will be open with couches and electrical outlets for kick back, charge your phone, and relax.

Don’t forget to look at the schedule and plan out what panels you want to see. There will be 2 panel rooms this year so you won’t be able to see it all.

These are just a few of the things that weren’t mentioned much up to this point. Check out the web site and Facebook for all current information.
