Earlier this week, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) Deputies in the Lower Valley arrested a man after a traffic stop revealed both meth and fentanyl in a vehicle.
According to EPCSO officials, On September 7th, Deputies from the Peter J Herrera Patrol Station made a traffic stop at the 1300 block of North Darrington.
“Upon further investigation and a vehicle search, Deputies discovered 409 grams of pills, determined to be fentanyl along with four grams of crystal methamphetamine,” official shared.
24-year-old Jose Perez Lorta was charged with Possession of Controlled substance (methamphetamines) as well as Manufacture and Delivery Controlled Substance (Fentanyl).
Perez was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Jail under a total bond of $207,500 bond.
