El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post ends Spring Break Training

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 2005 wrapped up spring break training, as they continue to prepare for the 2016 National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference and Competition.

This spring break, Sheriff’s Office explorers conducted live exercises, and received classroom instruction on the daily tasks Sheriff’s Office deputies encounter on a daily basis such as arrest and search, burglary in progress, traffic stop, obstacle course and active shooter.

Training took place at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Sparks Community Center/Substation March 7th -Friday, March 11th, 2016.

The 2016 National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference and Competition will take place on July 11th– 16th, 2016 at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
