EPCSO honors Joint Task Force-North with appreciation plaque

Last week, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Commander Ryan Urrutia presented Major General Simmons and the Joint Task Force – North with an Honorary Deputy appreciation plaque.

“Thank you for your selfless dedication and commitment to the El Paso Community,” EPCSO officials said.

Members Joint Task Force – North rallied to collect food and toys for the Sheriff’s Office Thanksgiving food drive and Christmas Toy Drive.

In 2020, with the assistance of the Joint Task Force – North, we were able to make an impact with 82 families, including 250 + children who had something to unwrap Christmas morning.

The canned food items donated ensured the food baskets distributed to the families were plentiful and overstocked so families could enjoy a warm holiday meal.

“The toys, socks, and undergarments donated were excitedly received by the children as they had something to look forward to unwrapping Christmas morningm” EPCSO officials added.
