El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Operation H.O.P.E Deliver Gifts to Tornillo
In partnership with Operation H.O.P.E., Sheriff Richard D. Wiles, and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office brought “Trunk of Hope” to the children in Tornillo, Texas on Saturday, December 23, 2017.
The Sheriff’s Office Community Services Section, Sheriff’s Office Explorers, El Paso County Constables, and Operation H.O.P.E. superheroes distributed over 500 toys to the children in Tornillo.
The Trunk of Hope distribution was done in a caravan style as we drove and walked through the streets of Tornillo, giving out toys to the children and spreading some holiday cheer.
It is with the help of this and other community partners that every year children in the unincorporated areas of El Paso County don’t miss out on opening gifts on Christmas morning.
