The program “Vaccinations for Health” that teams up the El Paso Fire Department with the El Paso Health Department to provide free influenza, blood pressure and glucose screenings to patients 18 and older, and pneumonia vaccines to those 65 and older, will start again in September.
“The wellness and safety of our community is extremely important to us,” said Medical Deputy Chief Robert Arvizu. “We have received our allotment of vaccines for the new flu season, and were are ready to serve the community who attends these two expos.”

Remember that the service is FREE to residents of El Paso and Hudspeth County who are 18 and over and DO NOT have medical insurance or are on Medicaid. We are encouraging residents who meet these guidelines to take advantage of the program. The goal of the program is to increase the wellness of our community who do not have access to these services.
