EPISD: Irvin High reports two more COVID-19 cases
Late Wednesday afternoon, officials with the El Paso Independent School District confirmed that two more Irvin High School students tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the second day in a row, and the third time in just over a week that the campus has reported cases of COVID-19. Per district releases, the school has a total of 5 confirmed cases.
Officials once again stated, “As outlined in EPISD’s School Reopening Guidelines, the District has notified all students and personnel who had contact with the infected students and must quarantine for 14 days to monitor symptoms.”
To abide by federal privacy laws, EPISD will not disclose the name, gender or any other information of the student.
