Antolin and Stephanie Arguelles consider their pets family, and it was that idea that led them down the path to their unique business idea that is EPK9 Stay and Play.
For the Arguelles, EPK9 Stay and Play is a one-stop shop for dog owners who consider their dogs as family members as well. Pet parents can have their dog play all-day, spend the night, groom, and train without going to different locations.
Customers are also able to view their dogs using the live web cameras.
Located in central El Paso, the location provides easy access from I-10 and is 2-minutes away from the El Paso International Airport.
According to the Arguelles, the decision to open the facility near Airway and I-10 is to provide customers a quick drop-off/pick-up point when they are leaving on vacations or heading to work.
The facility has 4200 square feet of space dedicated to dogs only. It will include 37 spacious dog suites, three play areas for small, medium, and large dogs, climate controlled, elevated Kuranda beds, and free live web cameras.
One dog suite is reserved to foster a dog up for adoption from the Humane Society of El Paso or the City of El Paso Animal Services. This idea of giving back to the community was inspired to help make El Paso a no-kill city.
The facility is located on the 6800 block of Gateway East Suite 3-C.
