El Paso ISD to discuss safe return to schools with community

Officials with the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) announced Tuesday that they will have two virtual meetings to discuss with parents and receive input on the safe reopening of schools for the upcoming 2021-22 academic year.

The meetings also will discuss the District’s efforts to reverse pandemic-related student learning loss. The first day back to school for EPISD students is set for August 2nd.

The meetings will be conducted via Zoom at noon and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13.

The meetings will be conducted in English and Spanish, and American Sign Language interpretation also will be available.
