Thursday morning, officials with evolve Federal Credit Union announced a partnership with El Paso Symphony Orchestra to host musical performances for local children’s organizations, including Child Crisis Center and Center Against Sexual and Family Violence.
The El Paso Symphony Orchestra will be performing a notable piece by the name Marvin and the Marvelous Map.
“This is a story about a little boy who learns to love his freckles after taking them back from the evil queen who stole them off his face,” performance organizers share. “This is a feel-good piece that is sure to stimulate the imagination and encourage self-confidence and self-esteem.”
The string quartet will be creating the music while the story is narrated throughout by EPSO’s Assistant Conductor, James Welsch.
“evolve FCU and the El Paso Symphony Orchestra are delighted to bring musical entertainment to the kids, family, and staff members of these organizations,” evolve FCU officials added.
“Both concerts are sure to fill the air with sounds of summer and grace. This partnership marks the beginning of the Sounds of Seasons collection created solely for the youth of El Paso.”
